Restorative Exercise™, created by biomechanic scientist Katy Bowman, is a movement program designed to restore health through optimal skeletal alignment. Many of our common diseases have mechanical causes, therefore, the way we move affects all aspects of our health. By focusing on building the foundation of health through biomechanics, Restorative Exercise™ will help you to reawaken your muscles to their appropriate length, improve your circulation, minimize wear and tear on your joints, and repair damage to your entire body.
Using alignment points you will discover:

- We then utilize specific movements and exercises to rebuild and restore total body health.
What is biomechanics?
Biomechanics brings anatomy, physiology, physics and geometry together in a comprehensive study of the human body. Biomechanics is the "nuts and bolts" of your human machine. It is the guidebook to better understanding how everything that we do (or don't do) will affect the whole system. In fact, biomechanics is the missing link in many different healing modalities. If you have tried 'everything' and only find short term relief, but not lasting change, realigning your body could be the key to feeling strong and healthy and pain free.

While workshops and group classes are a great way to start you on the path of whole body rebuilding, private sessions are specifically geared to your own unique needs.
Some people enjoy 1-3 initial sessions for an alignment assessment and a personalized program. Others enjoy on-going sessions to further refine, clarify and simply love that one-on-one feedback. Whatever you choose to do, you are choosing to take your health into your own hands.
