Restorative & Therapeutic Practices for Deep Healing
Stress, adrenal fatigue, burnout, are all too common in our culture. Join us for a one day workshop where we will explore the anatomy and function of the psoas muscles and how they can play a role in affecting the body and mind as a whole. You will learn a wide variety of tools and techniques to support the psoas and the nervous system.
You will uncover a deeper and experiential understanding of these two very important and often misunderstood muscles. Through somatic awareness, you will experience in your own body, deep healing practices that nourish on all levels. If you are a yoga teacher, therapist or into other movement modalities such as pilates, personal training, rehabilitative exercise, or dance, then understanding the psoas muscles will help you work more effectively with your clients and students. Open to teachers and students of all levels. Come take a day to unwind, reset and recharge your nervous system and become more awake and alive within your body.
Please bring a bolster, blanket, meditation cushion, notebook and light snacks. If you do not have the above props some will be available to borrow. Blocks and straps will be provided.
