You are the Organizer!
The Organizer Personality
Nothing makes you happier than a fresh new notebook or daytimer with the endless possibilities of lists, planning and organizing your time and projects. You are no stranger to colour coding, list, lists and more lists. You feel settled and calm when you can check off your to-do list and you might have even made a to-do list for your to-do list!
Details and planning are your superpowers and you love critical thinking and analytics. Meeting deadlines is no problem for you and your reliability and trustworthiness sets you apart in work environments and friendship groups. You tend to be articulate and people often come to you for advice as they know you are unbiased, a good listener with great insight.
Organizers as yoga teachers
As a yoga teacher, Organizers feel best when planning out classes. You likely have a notebook full of notes from trainings and workshops and a separate book full of sequences and class plans. If you forget your notes when teaching a class, it can leave you feeling uncomfortable and unsure.
You find yourself tending towards practices that are a more strong and physical as you spend more time in your head and a stronger practice allows you to connect back into your body, helping you feel more grounded in the moment.
You are so used to being busy- checking off your lists, completing projects, planning the next ones, that you find it hard to slow down and do more restful practices.
Organizers will find it helpful to add rest and relaxation to their schedule. Making time and valuing play, creativity and activities without an agenda will replenish as organizers tend to be more left-brain thinkers.
When you can love and trust your natural wiring as an organizer, you'll be more clear and confident in your teaching (and in your everyday life). You have permission to bring your notes into class, even if you don't look at them. Let your organizational superpowers enhance your teaching as your thoughtful sequences allow you to teach more clearly and the people in your classes will love how easy it is to follow along with your articulate teaching.
Using your Organizer powers for good in the world
As the world rapidly changes, it's the organizers that will help reform new ways of thinking and being. Organizers have a special ability to see what's needed to be done and create the plan to actually do it. Be bold in your Organizer abilities, team up with others who have vision and clarity and work together to make change a reality.
