5 Days to Restore: Day 1
Here you are. Take a big deep breath and a moment of gratitude that you made the time to prioritize your wellbeing.
Day 1: Shoulders
We start the 5- Days to Restore with your shoulders. It's common for our shoulders to feel like they carry the weight of the world. Today, you get to lovingly move stress out of your shoulders while feeling supported. And the best part? You don't even have to stand up!
In fact, lying down while doing the shoulder movements helps to support your nervous system on a deeper level. It's a wonderful combination when we can unwind tension while lying down. A great reminder that less really is more.
What you need:
Get into your cozy clothes, grab some pillows and blankets, and a yoga bolster if you have one. If you don't have a yoga bolster, you can use some folded-up blankets or a bunch of pillows.
The class is around 10 minutes long but if you're enjoying the relaxation and don't want to get up again at the end, you are more than welcome (and encouraged!) to stay a little longer in pose.
