A day of mindful movement, bountiful breaths, radical rest, and community calm.

Rest, breathe, move, and laugh. 

Enjoy a day devoted to all things rest and restore for your nervous system. You'll move and relax with love in so many wonderful ways. Unwind stress and tension with gentle movement, self-massage, guided relaxation, and somatic practices to feel more grounded and connected within yourself.

Your day retreat will be supported and guided by four of Heart + Bones online studio teachers: Leo Taylor, Atifa Ismailmiya- Balding, Lou Thomas, and Brea Johnson. We expect this event to sell out so make sure you book your spot as soon as you can!

A delicious lunch and snacks will be provided.

Your Restful Guides:

Lou Thomas (they/them) 

Is a queer and trans yoga teacher and arts facilitator based in Brighton, UK, whose work sits at the intersection of wellness and social justice. They specialise in a neurodivergent, trauma informed, accessible, and community based approach. They love that when centering accessibility, it allows people to practice together in a space that can hold each individual's own unique complexity and magic. 

Leo Taylor (She/Her) 

Leo has been specializing in women’s health since 2006 through yoga and therapeutic Thai massage. Having taught pregnancy and post-natal yoga for many years, while bringing up her own four children, she is now focused on sharing the transition of menopause helping to reframe narratives and perceptions around women’s health using the framework of yogic and Buddhist philosophy, offering inclusivity and accessibility.

Ati  Ismailmiya- Balding(She/Her) 

Ati’s biggest passion is to help others find sustainable ways to incorporate self care into their lives. Her mother is her greatest inspiration and introduced soothing self care practises to Ati during her younger years. Ati has taken this learning and uses it not only with her clients but in her own life. She is trained in many therapeutic modalities and has been a practising integrative therapist since 2004. She loves supporting others through soothing nervous system practices. She spends hours tinkering in the kitchen and sharing food with others and is her happiest wearing pyjamas!


Brea Johnson (She/Her) 

Brea has been teaching yoga and movement since 2003. A teacher, mentor and community builder with a focus on a functional and sustainable approach to yoga, she is known for providing a safe foundation of healthy movement while remaining focused on the heart of the yogic teachings. As the founder of Heart + Bones Yoga, Brea is endlessly grateful to the ever-growing global Heart + Bones community who are all moving with love in so many ways.
