Where did this thought come from and why is it here?

During this session we will explore the power of our thoughts and often what follows. Can we learn to soften our minds so that these (sometimes) intrusive thoughts can become softer? How can we use the power of affirmations to integrate and build the bridge between the mind and body so it becomes one?

Ati has been using mantras and affirmations every day since childhood to support her nervous system and to help with voice confidence. Sometimes Ati & her mum would come up with a sentence or a longer affirmation or settle on a simple mantra that Ati would practice. She would also adopt mindfulness which helped her find focus and clarity.

During this session you will:

  • use the power of affirmations. It is said that every word activates a particular kind of energy in a different part of the body and words are like spells in our mouths so how can we use them to show others and ourselves kindness? With focussed awareness we will use words and sounds to find flow within our mindbody.
  • be guided through face yoga exercises and a face massage which focusses on strengthening the face and neck muscles.
  • lie in rest during a guided visualisation where you will travel on a journey to integrate all parts of you.

Please bring:

Several blankets, pillows & cushions so that you can be super comfortable during the period of rest. You will also need face oil or cream which will provide enough slip and glide. Perhaps a note book, paper and pen to write and keep your affirmation.
