Today’s move + learn lesson is all about healthy knees! Brea will guide you through exercises and education that keep your knees strong, capable, and pain-free.

Your knees are an amazing part of your body and you'll also learn how healthy feet and hips contribute to knee health, which you can share with your students.

Loved this class! My knees are always hyperextending due to severe spasticity, so my physical therapy has been focused on strengthening my posterior chain. All the movements in this class were similar to my exercise program, though I found more opportunities for mind/body connection in this class. My movements were small, but did I ever feel them! I'm excited to start incorporating these!

Homework

Take a few moments to think about the different ways you could incorporate the movements from the lesson into your classes. Would some of them make a good warm-up or cool down? Do you have people in your classes that you know would benefit from you teaching these moves more often?

In your own body, how did the relationship between the posterior chain, shins and feet feel? Were you able to sense how it's all connected a bit better? Take a few minutes to write down your reflections.
